Welcome to Day 2 of the 30-Day Next Step Challenge
“People lose their way when they lose their WHY.”
Gail Hyatt
I love that quote because it illustrates the value of knowing why we do what we do, and in our context of the 30-Day Challenge, it helps us make wise choices with our use of time.
We’re going to play with rocks today and consider which one(s) to put in our schedule and which one(s) to keep out.
What’s the Day 2 Challenge?
It’s time to distinguish what’s essential in your life and what’s superfluous, i.e., the “small stuff” that is nice to have but won’t alter your life’s direction. If we’re going to make wise decisions regarding our use of time, we have to get comfortable saying “no” to some things and activities so that we can say “yes” to what matters.
Our Key Truth for Week 1
“Only three things last for eternity: God, the word of God, and the human soul.” (Jerry White)
Our Key (memory) Verse for Week 1
Ephesians 5:15-16: “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”
Not sure what comment your asking for? The difference of Christian and discipline to what I read is a disciple steps out of his comfort zone to reach others for Christ.
Thanks, Russell.
