Welcome to Day 17 of the Next Step Challenge
A friend of mine shared that when he was in the Navy, he was asked to help another sailor threatening to kill himself. Why did they ask him? He was a Christian. Even though most of the ship mocked his faith in Jesus, no one else knew how to help the sailor.
If you had the chance to share one thing, what would it be?
After assessing that the individual struggled with some choices he made, my friend share a key Bible verse and walked him through it. Not only did he choose to live, but he gave his life to Jesus.
Here’s what he shared.
We need tools in our disciple-making toolbox
I hope the key verse in today’s video encouraged you, but my real hope is that it equipped you to communicate hope to others and help them know they have choices. God offers a path for life, and we get the privilege of sharing that with people we know or those we will soon meet.
What’s the Day 17 Challenge?
Confess and forget.
