KEY VERSEZephaniah 3:15 (God to Zephaniah)
For the Lord will remove his hand of judgment and will disperse the armies of your enemy. And the Lord himself, the King of Israel, will live among you! At last your troubles will be over, and you will never again fear disaster.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
If you look around and see roaring lions or wolves who devour all, don’t be discouraged. If it appears your religious and political leaders are corrupt, treacherous people, take heart. I am still with you, and I am righteous. I do no wrong, and each day you can count on me, for I will not fail. I even patiently wait for the wicked to turn to me and fear me. I withhold judgment, eager for them to surrender to my will and my way.

But in the end, I will remove the arrogant. I will not allow them to shame my people or me. And I will leave the meek and the humble, a people of peace. Whether a large group or small, those who remain will trust in me. I will be your mighty warrior. I will save you, for I take great delight in you. I even rejoice with singing over you! Don’t miss that. Not only do I love you—which you might expect—but I also like you. I care for you and always will.

NEXT STEP
In Christ, God has defeated your enemy, but he will always save you and provide for you. Thank God that you are no longer under judgment and that God is a God who cares. Take time to thank God for specific ways he has protected you and provided for you.
