Ruth 3:1-18

SUMMARYCold feet

OVERVIEWRuth lay down at the feet of Boaz. It was not an immoral proposal but an act of submission. Ruth recognized Boaz could provide protection and provision.

BIG IDEALive a surrendered life to God.

KEY VERSERuth 3:11 (Boaz to Ruth)
Now don’t worry about a thing, my daughter. I will do what is necessary, for everyone in town knows you are a virtuous woman.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Surrender your life to me. All of it. Do more than say you trust me—show me by your actions. Release control of all you cling to and place it in my hands. I am trustworthy. You can count on me. Trusting me will be an act of faith, but the more you do it, the easier it will get. You will discover—or be reminded—that I can provide for you more effectively than you can. Stop trying to control things and invite me to take over.

Some will say a life of faith is a sign of weakness. It is not. It is wise and strategic living and will make you stronger. My strength is more significant than any you could find or develop. My grace is sufficient for you and everyone you care about. I am all you need, and I will provide all you could hope for or desire. Surrender to me and live the life you always wanted.

NEXT STEP
