But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Ruth stepped out in faith during a difficult time. She could have returned home, but she clung to Naomi and trusted me. You will find strength and power in faithfulness. Just be sure your faith is in the correct object. Seek me today and always. I will reward your loyalty. I am the one whom you can count on—indefinitely—so hold on to me and watch me provide. Following me does not guarantee you an easy life, but I promise you will never be alone. Regardless of what’s going on around you, I will be with you and guide you.

Surround yourself with others who follow me, too. You will face enough challenges in life. It is good to have support from others to remind and encourage one another to keep your eyes on me and hope in my promises. Support and serve one another and enjoy the blessing of a faith-filled community.

NEXT STEP
