KEY VERSERevelation 4:8 (John’s description of worship)
Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty— the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
You might be thinking heaven is a boring place. How could singing praises to me day and night be exciting? When you come face to face with me, you’ll see. There won’t be any other place you’d rather be. It will all come together for you, and you’ll have lots of “now I get it” moments. My word will be available and understandable in a new, timeless, limitless way. Your questions will be no longer consume you because everything will make sense.

You will be at perfect peace—every ache of anxiety and pain will be gone. You will live in the direct embrace of my euphoric, awe-inspiring, eternal love. You will be precisely where you have always belonged, doing what you were created to do: bringing honor and glory to me, the Creator and Sustainer of everything. You will not want to be anywhere else. With everything you are, you will want to sing praises to me, and you will love it in a way you cannot yet fully understand.

NEXT STEP
Sometime in the next month, set aside one hour to praise God. Don’t use this time to make requests or pray for others. Find a quiet location and actively praise God for his greatness. Use the scriptures to remind you of who he is. Sing songs that bring him glory. Focus singularly on God for sixty minutes for the sole purpose of giving him praise.
