KEY VERSEPsalm 76:4
You are glorious and more majestic than the everlasting mountains.

There are people and lands who fear my name and give me praise. They recognize my power and surrender their lives to my authority. I want others to say the same about you. I want them to say you love me and fear me and follow me, no matter how challenging or difficult the task. I want them to point to you as an example of a faithful follower. Don’t follow blindly. Seek me and talk to me about questions or doubts or fears. But in the end, put your faith in me, and follow me as I lead. You can trust me.

You will not lose when you walk with me. Some may mock or distance themselves from you, but I will never leave you. I will provide what you need when you need it. I am everything you are looking for. Pray for those who mock. Do not be bitter. Do not give them the silent treatment. Love them regardless of their actions, and show them my love.

To fear God means we acknowledge his awesome power. Take a moment to pray and reflect on whether or not you’ve been ignoring God in your life. If so, ask for a healthy fear as you go through your day.
