I come to you for protection, O Lord my God. Save me from my persecutors—rescue me!
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I love your honesty. Continue to speak your heart to me. Share it all. I hear you and I will provide for you. Give me your anger and frustration. Let me take action in your life. Let me be the judge of your situation. I am your shield—your protector. You may be attacked but I will intervene. There is no weapon that can overcome my protection. Dismiss any negative talk in your head. Don’t allow the enemy’s words to define you. Focus on what I say about you and how I feel about you. I am your identity.
Be patient and wait on me. Sin has a way of causing a person to stumble. When someone mistreats you, they are digging a hole for themselves, one they will eventually fall into. Don’t retaliate. Keep your eyes on me and follow my lead. Watch me work and give me thanks and praise, for I am trustworthy and reliable. I am your shield and your protector.
