KEY VERSEPsalm 59:1
Rescue me from my enemies, O God. Protect me from those who have come to destroy me.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I know what’s happening. I see the evil your enemies are doing in your life and to those you care about. I am aware of their actions, and I even know their future schemes. I also see you and want you to continue to bring your anger and frustration to me. I know you are innocent and being treated unfairly. Don’t think you are alone, for you are never alone. I will not allow them to go further than what I’ve declared. I want your enemies to turn to me. I want them to repent of their sin and call on me for help. But in the end they will be judged.

Do not focus on their arrogance and pride. Pay no attention to it. Instead pray for them and pray for those you love, that they would have peace. That’s what I want for you. I want to be your refuge where you can rest while I deal with your enemies. Sing praises to me, for I am trustworthy. Look to me for protection.

NEXT STEP
When you’re tempted to say something negative about someone or reply angrily on social media, stop and pray. Remember God is your fortress. Let him deal with those who are offensive.
