KEY VERSEPsalm 55:18
He ransoms me and keeps me safe from the battle waged against me, though many still oppose me.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I do hear your prayers. I will never ignore you. Cry out to me in the evening, in the morning, or at noon and I will hear and respond. I will rescue you and set you on a solid rock. I will cover you with my protection and strengthen you for the challenges you face. You never face them alone—I am with you. Cast all your cares on me and rest.

I know it can be devastating when someone you trust lets you down. Be ready to forgive that person. Keep your heart tender and soft and let me work through you. Let an experience like that challenge you and your own devotion to your friends. You are not to be their savior—only I can do that. But be a faithful friend. Be consistent and reliable. Keep your word and recognize the power and influence you have in their lives. Take that responsibility seriously and prove your loyalty again and again.

NEXT STEP
Be a faithful friend. Do something today to show a friend that you care.
