KEY VERSEPsalm 47:1–2
Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Often I want you to slow down, to be still, to listen. Your culture is loud and busy and I want you to temporarily step out of that so you can hear me. But not this time. Now I want you to clap. I want you to shout. I want you to declare to the world that I am great and powerful. Tell everyone I am King of all the earth. Tell them I reign over all and am worthy to be praised. Shout it, sing it, and dance with enthusiasm.

Don’t be mistaken for being asleep during times of praise. Don’t be distracted or bored. Don’t try to capture every moment. Lift your hands up and be in the moment. Recognize my power and authority and rejoice! For you are my child and I love you. I am for you and not against you.  Don’t worry about how you sound—just sing, joyfully and with gratitude.

NEXT STEP
Make some noise. No need to be quiet. Shout that God is awesome. Turn up your radio and sing. Walk with a bounce in your step and tell someone why you are excited.
