IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I don’t mind when you pray for me to be with you or to hear your prayer. I know you simply want my presence. I know sometimes that’s all you can think to pray when you or someone you love is struggling. And it’s OK. But you never have to pray for me those things because I am always with you, and I always hear your prayer. But do call on me. Cry out to me with your needs, wants, praises, and questions. I hear them all, I welcome them all, and I love you.
I want to give you my peace. I want you to to rest in the night, sleeping soundly knowing that I am at work in your life. I watch over you as I actively work out my plan. And when you rise, go forward with the confidence that I am with you and I will hear you when you pray. Speak to me now and throughout the day. Cry out to me and have peace.
