Psalm 29

Psalm 29:1-11

SUMMARYGive praise

OVERVIEWGod is powerful and in control of all. Give him praise.

BIG IDEAPraise God before the storms of life, during the storms, and after the storms.

KEY VERSEPsalm 29:2 (from David)
Honor the Lord for the glory of his name. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Worship me and give me praise. You see me in the heavens and hear me in the night. You marvel at my beauty and speak of my power. One word from me changes lives or shakes things up. I am one you can find in the remote desert or the bustling city. I am not nature. I create nature and I have created you to know me and my love and to show it to others.

I know it can be difficult when things don’t go your way. Your praise in those moments is what faith looks like. You don’t see all, but I do. You can’t fix everything but I can. Praise me in good times and bad. The enemy hates that but it makes me smile. The peace I want to give you does not mean an absence of hardship but a fullness of life. May my peace be on you today. Put all your energy towards knowing me and praising me.
