KEY VERSEPsalm 27:14 (David’s instruction)
Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I am your light and your salvation. I am your very source for life. Nothing can take my place. Don’t look for substitutes. They are cheap imitations and will never bring you the satisfaction I can. You may find temporary joy that lasts for a moment, but the side effects may haunt you for a lifetime. Instead of seeking me for daily direction, poor choices will force you to ask my help to cleanse your heart and mind.

I have a better way. Look to me. Gaze on my beauty. Be captivated by me. Have eyes for me alone. When you do, you will find all that you have been looking for. Everything else will be laughable. I am what you are looking for. Seek my face and you’ll discover I’m correct. I am here for you—today and always. I will teach you and lead you. Wait for my instruction. Stop rushing and instead, hurry up and listen.
