Psalm 24

Psalm 24:1-10

SUMMARYGod’s world

OVERVIEWThere is great anticipation for the coming of the Lord.

BIG IDEAGod alone is worthy of our praise.

KEY VERSEPsalm 24:1–2 (from David)
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Look around. All you see and all that is beyond is mine. I own it. I created it. I can do whatever I please with this world, but I invite you to play a role. Do not think you are not worthy or have nothing to offer. I give you worth. Through the forgiving work of Jesus, I invite you into my presence. Receive my blessing and live in my power today. I am God but I invite you into my plan.

I am strong and mighty. I am a King. Live with that knowledge today. Be influenced by those truths. Make decisions recognizing my authority. I will give you the strength to resist temptation or the courage to stand for truth or advocate for another. I will give you peace when you could be anxious. Worship me today by remembering who I am and resting in me. Live for me today, knowing I am with you always.

NEXT STEP
Cling to Jesus, the only one who can provide salvation. Give God the honor he deserves by turning to him and giving thanks when things are good, or by asking for help when they’re not.
