BIG IDEAPut your hope in God. Fear him and trust in his unfailing love.

KEY VERSEPsalm 147:10–11
His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I made you to show my love to others. I’ve given you gifts to engage in people’s lives and point them to me. I’ve blessed you and given you strength and skills and wisdom. Use them for my glory. When you serve me, you praise me, and I love your praise. But do not serve me to earn my love. You can’t do that. I already love you, so stop working so hard to get my attention. Instead, humble yourself before me. Seek me and let me lead you. Let me show you my love.

I am the one who heals broken hearts. I am the one who comforts and soothes your pain. I do that because I know you and all that is going on in your life. You are not alone. You are never on your own. Step out in faith and follow me. Walk with confidence that I am with you.

NEXT STEP
Stop striving to please God by what you do for him. Take time today to rest and acknowledge his love. Breathe in deeply and slowly let out the air, thanking God for his faithfulness and love.
