One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I know you have reasons to praise me. Have you thought about them? Keep them at the forefront of your mind, at the tip of your tongue. Have them ready to share with others. And because you will have times of sadness or doubt my involvement in your life, those reasons will be good for you to review yourself. I am gracious to you. I show you compassion. I am patient and slow to anger. I am always ready to pour out my love to you. Take time to think of examples of when you have seen and experienced my love. It will encourage you that you are never forgotten.
And as I provide for you, I do the same for others. This is good news for all. Share it freely. Talk to all generations about this. Encourage those who are older and equip and teach those who are younger. I want everyone to be reminded of my love and presence. Be part of my team and receive reminders from others.
NEXT STEP
Ask a Jesus-follower who is older than you one of their favorite memories of how God provided for them and how they hope God will provide in the future. Do the same with a younger believer.
