Psalm 144

Psalm 144:1-15

OVERVIEWDavid will sing a new song of thanks to God for all he has done for him, his family, and the nation of Israel.

BIG IDEACall on God for deliverance—he answers.

KEY VERSEPsalm 144:9
I will sing a new song to you, O God! I will sing your praises with a ten-stringed harp.

Many say you and others are meaningless in the scope of the grand universe and my eternal plan. They are incorrect. You have value because I have given it to you. You have purpose because you are alive. Do not think more highly of yourself than you ought, but don’t think less of yourself, either. It is a fine line but if you seek me and follow me, I will help you find that balance.

Walk with confidence today that I know you, love you, and am with you. Expect me to provide and deliver in the ways you need. Don’t let your faith be limited to what I’ve done for you in the past. Remember those things and celebrate my work, but look forward to the new ways I want to provide in the future. I love your songs of praise, but I want to hear new ones that highlight what I am doing now. Follow me today.

Identify an area you would like to further develop in your faith and find a book or video or other resource that will help you achieve that goal. Share your plan with a friend and ask for accountability.
