KEY VERSEPsalm 142:6
Hear my cry, for I am very low. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Seek me with all you heart. Cry out to me in desperation. I am the one who delivers. I am the one you can count on. But don’t just look for my help when you struggle. Seek me all day and every day. Let me be your first thought, and then continue to follow me. When you are hurting or lost, I will guide you. When you are peaceful and content, I will give you rest. Look for and listen for my leading and follow me.

As you follow me, keep your eyes open for those who need help. Some will be in obvious pain and others are quite adept at hiding it. But many need hope and encouragement. I will nudge you in certain directions and steer you in conversations. Follow my lead and pay attention to the needs of others. Listen for ways you can help and take time to pray for the person.

NEXT STEP
Look for someone who needs encouragement today and ask if you can pray for them. Follow up with them each day for the next several days as you continue to pray.
