Psalm 127

Psalm 127:1-5

SUMMARYPrayer-storming

OVERVIEWA reminder to put God first and trust him and his plan.

BIG IDEAIt’s foolish to spend time brainstorming when you haven’t spent time praying.

KEY VERSEPsalm 127:1
Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
You work so hard. You stay up late or get up early—sometimes both—fully intent on finishing your project. I love your passion. I admire your drive. Your commitment and vision inspire others. I want you to succeed. My desire is for your gifts to be shared with many. You are a blessing and you’ve been designed to be so. I want others to hear from you and receive from you.

I just wish you’d let me help. I want you to seek me and invite me into your project. I want to offer insight into your plans. I planted your goals and dreams. I gave them to you. Let me be part of what you are working on and allow me to lead you. Apart from me, you can accomplish things, but with me lives can change for eternity. I don’t want your labor to be in vain. And I don’t want your friends and family to suffer because of your workload. Seek me and let’s work together.

NEXT STEP
Start your day with prayer. Continue your day with prayer. End your day with prayer. Set aside multiple times today to stop and pray and remember who is in control.
