Psalm 114

Psalm 114:1-8

SUMMARYNo barriers

OVERVIEWThe miraculous nature of God’s provision during Israel’s exodus from Egypt.

BIG IDEAWhen God guides, he provides.

KEY VERSEPsalm 114:7
Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Submit and surrender to me and your life will be complete. I am all you need. I am all you will ever desire. Nothing will stop you—no power, no person, no word, or any threat. When I am in your life and you follow me, you are unstoppable. Miracles are real and they happen every day. Call on me and let me work in and through you.

Review Israel’s history if you need a reminder. Get reacquainted with the scope of my work. When my people thirsted I provided water from a rock. When their travel was impeded, I provided a way through the river. When they were cornered by their enemy, I created a path through the sea and then closed it to protect them from the enemy. Nothing is too difficult for me. Stop looking at your problems and being overwhelmed. Look to me. I am where your help comes from. Turn to me, follow me, and live in peace and freedom.

NEXT STEP
The next time you experience doubt or fear, read this psalm to remind yourself of God’s power and might. All things are possible with God.
