KEY VERSEPsalm 1:1–2
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Each day you get to choose your own adventure. I will lead you one way, but you will have other options. For health and wholeness, choose to follow me. There is a progression of association that takes you down a healthy path or destructive one. Look around. Are you walking in the same direction as those who consistently choose to make unhealthy choices. If so, turn around and walk the other way. That will be difficult but I will empower you.

Take time to think deeply about my word and all I’ve taught you. Meditation doesn’t have to be an unachievable task. It’s similar to a cow chewing its cud over and over and over again. The cow seeks to get every ounce of nutrition from its food. Do the same with my word. Pause in your day—frequently—and reflect on my word. Think about it over and over and over again. Let it remind you of what I want you to know and how I want you to apply it.

NEXT STEP
Pick two times in your day today to stop and reflect on what you’ve recently read in the Bible. Find a quiet place, set your phone alarm for two minutes, and sit quietly before God. Let him speak to you.
