KEY VERSEProverb 6:6
Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise!

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I want you to rest. I created a rhythm in life that provides rest. Work hard when you are supposed to work. But take time to rest and recharge. I designed the sabbath for your benefit. Set it aside as a day you and your family reconnect with me and one another. Don’t use your sabbath to catch up on work. There will always be more work to do.

Follow the example of the ant. It works diligently towards a goal and does so with a team. The team supports one another and practices effective communication. Contrast that with those who sleep longer than necessary. They look for shortcuts and take no pride in their work. They expect others to provide for their needs when they can do so themselves. Seek me and my will. Allow me to infuse you with energy and guide you throughout your day. I have plans to grow you and build my kingdom.

NEXT STEP
Prayerfully put together a plan for your week and work hard to achieve it. Keep your eyes open to ways God may redirect you, however. Follow God’s leadership this week.
