KEY VERSEProverbs 30:5
Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Treasure my word and hunger for it more than your favorite food. Crave it more than water to quench your thirst. When you do, you will discover my wisdom, my love, and my promises. You will learn to discern what is right in your life and what you should pursue and what you should avoid. Do not toss me to the side or only seek me when you are desperate. I want you to know that I have no comparison. There is nothing you can find that will provide as I can.

Without me, you will search endlessly for satisfaction. Without me, you will make unwise choices trying to find fulfillment. Without me, you will say and do things for attention that will cause you pain and humiliation. Stop looking for love and fulfillment. I am here and want to give you more than you can imagine. Surrender to me and let me show you life as I intended you to live it.

NEXT STEP
Take a 5-minute break three or four times today and try viewing people and activities as God does. How does that compare with your typical view? Why is it so difficult to keep God’s perspective? What might you do or change to view life through God’s eyes more than you currently do?
