KEY VERSENumbers 5:6–7 (God to Moses)
Give the following instructions to the people of Israel: If any of the people—men or women—betray the Lord by doing wrong to another person, they are guilty. They must confess their sin and make full restitution for what they have done, adding an additional 20 percent and returning it to the person who was wronged.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I will never leave you. If you are unfaithful to your family or me, turn around, and I will receive you. I will help you restore your marriage or any relationship you’ve scarred. Stop moving away from me and those who love you. Turn back. Return to those who love you. It will not be an easy path back, but there is a way. And it begins with you accepting my invitation to come home.

And when you do, pursue faithfulness. Make faithful living your goal. Treasure it, appreciate it, and recognize its blessings. Living faithfully will give you strength, security, confidence, and peace. And it will do the same for those you love. You can build a fortress of love and support through faithfulness. Any pleasure you seek in unfaithful living is short-lived. Enjoy the blessing and stability and joy of faithful living. Enjoy my plan for your life.

NEXT STEP
Do the right thing today, for we have an all-seeing God. Is there anything in your own life you are putting up with because it’s “not hurting anyone”? Confess any sin to God and to a friend who can hold you accountable.
