Many sacrifices were offered on that joyous day, for God had given the people cause for great joy. The women and children also participated in the celebration, and the joy of the people of Jerusalem could be heard far away.
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I have chosen you and set you apart as my children. That’s a big deal. You are mine, and all I have is yours. You have my protection, my provision, my friendship, my strength, my Spirit, and my love. And that is only the beginning. There’s too much to take in all at once, so the best thing to do now is celebrate! Praise me for all I have done and rejoice with others who also have received my gifts and blessings.
Tomorrow when you wake up, it will be a new day, but it will still be a day to be thankful and celebrate. Let my provision permeate your every being so that you think in a new way, speak in a new way, and treat others will the value I have given them. Continue to seek me. Hunger to know more of me, for I have so much I want to show you. But rest in me as I lead, and follow me with joy.
