Micah 2

Micah 2. Deliverance promised

Micah 2:1-13

SUMMARYDeliverance promised

OVERVIEWDespite the sins of the people and false prophets in the land, God promises deliverance to those who seek him.

BIG IDEATrust God’s plan today. Go his way.

KEY VERSEMicah 2:12 (God to Israel)
“Someday, O Israel, I will gather you; I will gather the remnant who are left. I will bring you together again like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture. Yes, your land will again be filled with noisy crowds!”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I will protect and provide those who seek me. Even though others mock my word and ridicule your faithfulness, continue to look to me. I am the answer everyone seeks. I don’t know why others ignore me or ridicule my plan of salvation. It may not be logical or possible in their minds, but it is true. It is trustworthy. And it will come to pass.

I have heard the mocking gestures, and I have seen much arrogance displayed. Ignore the words and disregard the temptations. Not everything you see and hear in the world will come to pass. But everything I say and everything I put before you will be fulfilled. If you will count on me for your eternal future, do so for your daily needs. Don’t save trusting me for the end of your life. I don’t want you to miss out on seeing me provide in great ways today.

NEXT STEP
Choose God’s ways. Despite what others are saying and doing, put your hope and trust in God. Is there a decision you need to make that leads you in two directions? Pray to God and seek wise counsel from other believers you trust.
