KEY VERSEMatthew 6:33 (Jesus teaching)
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Make me your number one priority. Before you do anything else, allow me to fill your thoughts with my desires. Don’t stress about all you need to do or achieve or obtain. Just relax, and come to me with all of your concerns. I promise I will provide all you need and take you where you need to be. Whatever you don’t have, you don’t need it right now.

Remember who I am and how I work. I am a giver. I will always take care of you. I will do what is best for you. But my top concern is our relationship. Let’s keep our connection going all day every day, and you will see that you don’t have to worry about today or tomorrow. I’ve got you, so focus on me.

There is much you could worry about but don’t. Bring all your cares and concerns to me. I love you and want to help. There is also much praise you could seek from others for your spiritual commitment but don’t. Instead, focus on loving me and spending time with me. Let your genuine love for me and others reveal your heart.

NEXT STEP
Write down the number one thing that keeps you from seeking God first each day. Write down a change you can make in your attitude, schedule, or behavior to put God first. Discuss these things with a trusted friend.
