KEY VERSEMatthew 25:35–36 (Jesus teaching parable)
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I created you to be in a relationship with me, one of love and purpose. That is why you have the freedom to choose. Love is a choice. When you choose me, I produce fruit in your life. I turn you into a giver, a server, a sacrificer, a sharer of my love. I fill you with life, even after you die. It pleases me as a father is pleased with his child when you choose me.

You show your love for me when you care for others. You show your love for me when you meet needs and bring encouragement and hope to those who are overlooked or ignored. Not only will you be a blessing as you give, but as the church grows in faith and compassion, you will be blessed when you are in need. I want you to follow me and join others in showing my life and love to others.

NEXT STEP
Think of someone who has served you, encouraged you, prayed for you, given to you, or blessed you in any way. Take time today to thank them and remind them that their kindness reflects God’s love.
