KEY VERSEMatthew 2:13 (angel to Joseph)
After the wise men were gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up! Flee to Egypt with the child and his mother,” the angel said. “Stay there until I tell you to return, because Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Be receptive to my guidance. Being in a relationship with me means you will be fully alive and active along life’s path. I want to prepare you for what is ahead. I want to warn you of dangerous pitfalls. I want you to experience me in every victory, failure, tragedy, and thrill you encounter along the way. Be consistently receptive to me.

For you to hear me and follow me, you will have to learn to listen. It’s both an art and a discipline. I have equipped you with my word for instruction, encouragement, and inspiration. I have given you other believers for counsel and friendship. I have filled you with my spirit. Take times throughout the day to be still. Be quiet and listen. But also listen for my voice as you move about. Amid the chaos, I can still be heard. Listen beyond the noise of your day.

NEXT STEP
Be quiet and be still for five or ten minutes. Listen to what God has to say. Write a summary of what you feel God is saying in a text message and text it to yourself. Keep the message on your phone as a reminder throughout the day.
