IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
What you put into your mind is of great importance. Don’t allow unimportant things to distract you from that which you want to remember every day. I have set you free. You can live in the confidence that comes with truth. I love you, and I invite you to be part of what I am doing on earth. And I will be relentless in pursuing a relationship with you. Those truths will not change when your circumstances change. I will be with you now and for eternity.

Who you follow is critical. Stay away from teachers who twist the truth for their gain. A little lie can grow into a chain of bad choices, and worst of all, a pattern of avoiding me.  Twisted truth leads to guilt, fear, greed, cruelty, competitiveness, depression, and anger. If you consume those things, you are not pursuing truth. Instead, immerse yourself in my word and be still as you listen to my spirit. As you surrender more of yourself to me, you will live with more confidence, more freedom, and more joy.

NEXT STEP
Evaluate what you hear and learn from those who influence you in your faith formation. Identify ways your influencers live for God and encourage them by pointing it out. If they’re not living under God’s influence, pray for courage, and talk with them about your concerns.
