KEY VERSEMark 14:38 (Jesus to disciples)
Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Some of your brothers and sisters in the faith will fall away, even some whom you thought were more durable than you. Keep your eyes on me. Worship only me, not teachers or mentors, or those on a platform. I know what it is like to have to be obedient when it hurts. I can help you do what I have called you to do. I can help you be who I created you to be. Trust me and stand firm.

When you feel tempted to give up, talk with me in prayer. When you are ready to walk away, surround yourself with other believers who can encourage you. When you are weak, remember the purpose I have for you. I want you to know, without reservation, that I will never leave you or forsake you. There’s nothing you could do that would either increase my love for you or stop me from loving you. I will always be here for you. Follow me today. Even if you’re struggling, take a step towards me.

NEXT STEP
Consider what would make you so fearful that you run from God. Take time to pray that God would strengthen you in that area. And thank him for never running from you.
