KEY VERSELeviticus 6:4 (God to Moses)
If you have sinned in any of these ways, you are guilty. You must give back whatever you stole, or the money you took by extortion, or the security deposit, or the lost property you found…

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I know it’s tempting to let things go, to look the other way, to ignore your sin, or sweep things under the rug. Don’t do it. Own your sin and respond quickly and appropriately. I can and will forgive you, but you must take the first step. Come to me and confess. Acknowledge what you’ve done, and I will forgive you. I love to forgive, but come to me and do it promptly. Time matters. Respond when your heart is soft.

But don’t stop there. Confess to those you’ve hurt as well. Lies and deception build walls between people. Topple those walls and restore any hurt or scarred relationships. Relationships matter more than you know. Nurture them. Care for them. Feed them what is healthy, and they will bear fruit for generations. Don’t allow pride to talk you out of doing what is right. Follow me as I lead you. I will give you the strength and courage. Take your first step now. I am with you.

NEXT STEP
Is there a relationship you need to restore? Own your part in whatever caused the rift and apologize. If you have done everything possible, pray for those you’ve hurt and invite them to do something with you. Do everything possible, pray, and trust me.
