Leviticus 4

Leviticus 4:1-35

OVERVIEWGod doesn’t want anything to come between him and us. God loves us so much he provides a sin offering for unintentional sins.

BIG IDEANo sin is insignificant.

KEY VERSEPsalm 19:12 (David’s prayer)
How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults.

I love you today, regardless of what you do or what you say. But your words do matter. Your choices make a difference. Your thoughts reveal much about who you are and what you care about. You don’t have to live a certain way to impress me. You’ve already got my love. Instead, live for me to enrich your life and to bless those around you. Follow me to enjoy life as I intended.

I forgive your sin from the past, present, and future. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice, so his blood covers all. However, the Holy Spirit will reveal any secret, hidden, or unconfessed sin. Don’t ignore the Spirit’s nudges. Even though I forgive your sin, I love when you confess it to me. It reveals what matters to me matters to you. It strengthens our relationship. It brings me joy as I continue to mold and shape you into the person I created you to be.

Ask God to search your heart to reveal any unconfessed sin. Ask God for forgiveness, and thank him for it, too.
