“Sir,” Gideon replied, “if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all the miracles our ancestors told us about? Didn’t they say, ‘The Lord brought us up out of Egypt’? But now the Lord has abandoned us and handed us over to the Midianites.” Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Pain, circumstances, or trials will tempt you to doubt me or my plan. I am aware of all that’s going on in your life. Nothing catches me by surprise. I know when your enemies surround you or when you feel overwhelmed and out of control. I know when you think you do not have any of the supplies or abilities you think you need.

I’m also aware of what’s happening behind-the-scenes and within you. I know when you feel abandoned and wonder why I am not providing as I did in the past. I know all these things because of the one truth you must not forget: I am with you. I am with you when you’re up and down or when you’re confident and scared. You change, but I do not. Trust me today and always. I am with you, and I will provide for you just the way you need at precisely the time you need it. Take your next step of faith.
