KEY VERSEJudges 15:7 (Samson to the Philistines)
“Because you did this,” Samson vowed, “I won’t rest until I take my revenge on you!”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
It’s easy to fight back, to take an eye for an eye. I’m calling you to live differently. I want you to trust me and live a faith-filled life. Turn to me when you’re angry and want revenge. Trust me with the feelings and emotions that swirl inside you. Stop and think before you act. Call on me. Let me step in and take control.

I am for justice, but let me administer it appropriately. You’re likely to act impulsively or pursue vengeance, and that’s too costly. Turn to me when you’re angry because someone has mistreated you, and let me use this to grow your faith and develop your character. I will discipline those who need it, but I want to do more than that. I want to bring hope and healing to you and all involved, but you need to turn to me first—before you act out. Seek me and let me work in you and through you.
