KEY VERSEJoshua 3:5 (Joshua to Israel)
Then Joshua told the people, “Purify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you.”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Have your eyes wide open and your heart and mind ready for me to do amazing things. And don’t be surprised when I do. I want to provide for you. I want to reveal myself to others, too. I want to do something in you and through you today. Are you ready? Prepare yourself by confessing your sin. Don’t assume I will put you in a position to help others when you are living your way and ignoring my leadership. I can empower and equip you in any condition, but show me your willingness by saying “no” to your desires and “yes” to mine.

You don’t have to live perfectly. No one is sinless, but I do want you to be humble with a heart and mind that desire to follow me and expect me to do great things—even the miraculous. Don’t look at a challenging situation and say “It’s impossible.” Instead pray, “God I know you can do all things. What will you do here?”

NEXT STEP
Live with the expectation that God will do great things. Walk into your school, or job, or home, or a store and pray, “God, show me how you are working and how you want me to be involved.”
