IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
It is okay to admit your limitations, failures, and faults. You don’t know it all, and you don’t have to. You need to know me. Information is important, and education is valuable, but knowledge won’t save you. I am your savior, redeemer, and lifeline. Stop pretending and start depending on me. It’s too much work trying to maintain or uphold an image. Let go of your reputation and admit your needs to me and those around you. Become a person known more for humility than pride.

Open your eyes to all that I am doing in your life and those around you. See people the way I see them. Show them love and believe that all can have a relationship with me if they turn to me. I want to do miracles in your life and those around you. Open your eyes to the possibilities. See me for who I am—the living God! Steps of faith can be frightening, but when you say yes to me, they are always your best decision.

NEXT STEP
It’s good to develop consistent spiritual habits like Bible study, prayer, service, and spending time with other believers. However, we must be careful about ruts or rituals that can reduce our view of God. Do something unusual this week. Make a date with God, like you would a friend you haven’t seen in a while. Meet him in a park, at a quiet coffee shop, or on a trail in the woods. Share your heart with him and listen to what he has to say.
