IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
You’ve been relying on something other than me to sustain you when you find yourself restless and unsatisfied. Have you been hoping a great teacher will fulfill you? Have you been leaning on a friend or spouse to keep you inspired and alive? Do you worship ‘worship music’ or Christian culture instead of me? Only I can fill you with the goodness and satisfaction you need. Nothing else will work.
It’s easy to be distracted from what matters most. Enjoy the blessings and the people I have put in your life, but don’t let them replace me, the one who gives you life. Even when you do prioritize correctly and spend time with me, your mind can be in a million places. When you get distracted, take time to recenter your attention on me and remember who I am. Time spent with me is an investment that always yields a good return. I don’t want to be in your life. I want your life. Let me renew you, sustain you, and fill you with my love and power.
