KEY VERSEJohn 14:1 (Jesus to disciples)
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
As you follow, there will be times when the way is clear and you strongly recognize my presence. There will also be times of uncertainty when it is hard to believe I am with you. During those difficult times, remember my words. Remember who I am in your life. Remember how real and alive I have been to you. Don’t get off track. I am with you. I will never leave you or forsake you. You don’t have to hope my promise is real—you can be confident it is true.

I have prepared you for this moment. Whatever is happening or will happen is under my authority. Not only am I with you, but the Holy Spirit will give you the words to say. Step out in faith with boldness. Enjoy the knowledge that you never walk alone. I have prepared a place for you, a way for you, and a purpose for you. Take comfort in these words and rest.

NEXT STEP
Write down three circumstances when you deeply felt God’s presence in your life. Remind yourself that God is faithful, even in the times where you wonder where he is. Give him thanks. Give him praise. Give him your trust.
