KEY VERSE: John 1:1 (Introduction of Jesus)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I am God: the Father, the Spirit, and the Son. I created you, am with you, and will guide you. Jesus is the connecting point. As God, he has always been and will always be. As a man, Jesus came to show you how to live and to demonstrate perfect love. He laid down his sinless life as a sacrifice for all, so that you may live abundantly on earth and eternally with me when your life on earth is over.
Don’t look past Jesus. He is the reason for everything. He’s the reason you go to church, he’s the reason you have hope and forgiveness, and he’s the reason to live with purpose today. Bring Jesus into your conversations today and talk to him throughout your day. He is with you and for you. Expect him to lead you and pay attention to his instructions. Lean in and listen. Open your eyes and see. He is with you and inviting you to follow him. You are wise when you do so.
“Come and see” is an excellent reminder for you to have your eyes open to what God is doing. It’s also a great invitation to offer others. Stop during your day and ask God to open your eyes to see all he is doing in your life and the lives of those around you.
