God is powerful and dreadful. He enforces peace in the heavens.
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I am the one you must follow. I have all power and might, wisdom and knowledge. Everything and everyone belongs to me, and I will do as I please. I do not say that out of arrogance—although I could—I say it as a loving father whose children may not understand my will or intentions. I am a God of love and beauty and will always do what is good, right, and pure. I will not always do things the way you want, but everything I do is part of my plan. I can redeem wickedness and exchange it for hope.
Do not waste time trying to understand or explain my ways to others. I recognize that temptation, but praise me, instead. I want you to trust me. I want you to realize your place in my universe. You are small and insignificant, but I am giving you value and authority for good. Join me in building my kingdom.
NEXT STEP
When is the last time you’ve been in awe of God’s power or beauty? Tell someone about it. If it has been a while, ask God to reveal his power and beauty and grace to you.
