KEY VERSEJob 14:1–2 (Job to God)
How frail is humanity! How short is life, how full of trouble! We blossom like a flower and then wither. Like a passing shadow, we quickly disappear.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
It’s true: your life is but a mist. Like a shadow or evaporating water, your days are numbered. But you will endure beyond this life. Only I am aware of how many days you have on earth, but you can know how long you will live with me in the future. You will rise after death and live in my presence for eternity. Forever! Those days are countless. Rest in that promise and live in peace, knowing that if you have a relationship with Jesus, your future is secure.

Rise above your current pain or challenge. Laugh at what tempts you or those who mock you. Those will not last, but you will. You will rise free from pain, struggle, and strife. You will rise victoriously, just as Jesus did. He conquered death so that you might live today and forever. Live with purpose and love others today. Live with hope and follow me.

NEXT STEP
Make a list of the people or things that challenge or trouble you. Pray those things back to God, asking for strength and thanking him that those challenges will not last forever. Thank God that his love endures forever.
