KEY VERSEJeremiah 6:10 (Jeremiah to God)
To whom can I give warning? Who will listen when I speak? Their ears are closed, and they cannot hear. They scorn the word of the Lord. They don’t want to listen at all.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Judgment is coming. Only I know when the final judgment will arrive but live as if it is here now. Turn back to me today. Don’t put it off until tomorrow or even later today. Turn back now. I am here and ready to receive you. I welcome you. Do not be like those whose ears are closed. They ignore my teaching entirely. My word is offensive to them, which is ironic for many of their choices and interests are abhorrent to me. Still, I call out to them and invite them—and you—to be in a relationship with me.

There is a path towards hope and righteousness, and it will bless you! On my path, you will find rest for your soul, calm for your heart, and peace for your mind. Take my way and be planted along the stream of water. Don’t be like those who choose not to walk on it. Don’t be like those who choose not to listen to me. I am calling out to you now. Follow me today. Walk on my path.

NEXT STEP
You have already taken time to read God’s word, but continue your journey today. Set aside 3-4 additional times when you simply pause and reflect on what you read today (good habit for other days, too). Listen for God’s instruction. Or use the time to pray for someone or serve someone. Don’t resist God’s word or ignore its truth. Follow him today.
