SUMMARY: Run!
OVERVIEW: God’s people are encouraged to run from Babylon to escape the nation’s impending judgment.
BIG IDEA: Run from wicked ways, for God will judge the wicked.

Flee from Babylon! Save yourselves! Don’t get trapped in her punishment! It is the Lord’s time for vengeance; he will repay her in full.
IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Don’t be afraid of those who need me, who are far from me. I’ve put you in their lives so that you can be a positive example and tell them about me and the grace I offer. But do not conform to their image or even dabble in their ways. Seek to develop a relationship with them, but do so from a distance, if necessary. Do not walk or stand or sit with them if they entice you to do evil. Instead, get away. Run! I’ve given you the authority to stand up to the evil one in the name of Jesus but flee from temptation.
I will judge all who entice others to sin and ignore my invitation to turn to me. Do not get caught up in their sin. Run from temptation and pray for the tempters to have a change of heart. I will destroy evil, so cling to me and pray for life change.

Run from any temptation that distracts you or prevents you from growing in your relationship with Jesus. Identify 1-2 things and ask a friend for support. If you cannot think of any distractions, ask some friends what they believe is distracting you.
