KEY VERSEJeremiah 47:6 (Jeremiah’s question)
Now, O sword of the Lord, when will you be at rest again? Go back into your sheath; rest and be still.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
I want you to trust me. I want you to turn to me and follow me as I lead you. I want you on the path of righteousness—my path—because a day is coming when I will bring judgment, a day when no one will survive. Many will run for protection, seeking help anywhere they can find it. They will flee with such urgency that they leave their children and other loved ones behind. If only they had chosen to run towards me instead of away. Don’t be like them. Turn to me.

My judgment will not be complete until it accomplishes its goal. Those who resist me will not find peace. But those who submit to me will find it. My love and support for you will not end. Just as I can bring total devastation, I can also provide hope and healing for those who seek me. Do not be overcome by the world or the chaos around you. Instead, rest in my love, and the forgiveness found in Jesus.

NEXT STEP
Don’t seek revenge. Instead, take time to pray for your enemies and allow God to bring any needed judgment.
