KEY VERSEJeremiah 46:28 (God to Israel)
“Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant, for I am with you,” says the Lord. “I will completely destroy the nations to which I have exiled you, but I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you, but with justice; I cannot let you go unpunished.”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Many boast of their accomplishments. They look at their grades, investments, relationships, skill set, or physique, and they pat themselves on the back. They look for and expect praise from others, and they ignore those who don’t do want they want. They look past those who need help and even those who could become friends because they don’t believe they need something. They are sadly mistaken.

Don’t live that way. Don’t speak so much of yourself that you can’t hear what I or others have to say. When you only listen to that which builds you up, your pride will consume you. Instead, learn to look to me. Learn to discern what I am doing in and around you. Learn to trust me and discover the thrill of obedience. And when you learn that I am with you and want to help you, your perspective will change. I want you to choose the humble path before I decide to humble you.

NEXT STEP
Choose humility. Practice putting others before yourself today and talk about ways God has helped you and strengthened you.
