You have said, “I am overwhelmed with trouble! Haven’t I had enough pain already? And now the Lord has added more! I am worn out from sighing and can find no rest.”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
Faithful living can be challenging. It’s easy to think of an easier way or a better way—one that is not as stressful and recognizes your efforts. I understand the challenge in following through on commitments but don’t give up. And don’t seek to build a name for yourself. Seek me and my will, instead. Be faithful and loyal to what I’ve called you to do, for I have great things in store for you, and I don’t want you to miss them.

I will give you the strength to persevere in trying times. I will provide you with power and insight when you don’t know where to go or what to do. And I will also protect you. Your faithfulness does not go unnoticed. Others may not have any idea what you are going through, but I do. Keep your eyes on me and live for me, and I will provide what you need.

NEXT STEP
Go to your spouse, a family member, or a trusted friend and tell them you will be there when needed. Pray together and ask God to bless the person and to help you be faithful.
