KEY VERSEJeremiah 30:10 (God to Israel)
“So do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant; do not be dismayed, Israel,” says the Lord. “For I will bring you home again from distant lands, and your children will return from their exile. Israel will return to a life of peace and quiet, and no one will terrorize them.”

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
You will have seasons of pain and trials to endure. Some will be caused by others’ actions, while others will be the result of my discipline. I will discipline you when needed, but never more than you can handle. Keep the end in mind. Your pain and suffering may seem unbearable, but it is not. You may want to give up or give in and look for the nearest pain remedy, even if it’s an unwise choice. Withstand that temptation. I am molding you into the person I will use in powerful ways.

I will save you. Don’t lose sight of that promise. Hold onto it and let it not only motivate you to press on but share those words of hope and encouragement with others. Give them the strength I will give you. I will lead you on the path of peace and security and restore you to a healthy position where you can effectively serve others. Walk with me and find satisfaction and hope.

NEXT STEP
Don’t ignore your pain. Acknowledge it and pray about it. Ask God to strengthen you and help you take the steps he leads you to take. Review today’s key verse and reflect on ways God has provided for you in the past.
