BIG IDEAThe glory of the Lord will attract people, unite them, and bring joy.

KEY VERSEIsaiah 60:19 (God to Israel)
No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the Lord your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.

IF GOD WROTE YOU A LETTER
You may feel overwhelmed when you see the problems in the world. Your heart may ache when you hear of the pain and suffering of others. You may think all my promises can’t come true. But hold on—a day is coming! There will be a time of great joy, unity, and ever-present light.

I will show you and others compassion. You will lift your eyes and see joy and unity amongst all people. Those you thought would never get along will be brothers and sisters. There will be a spirit of hope as they help and serve one another. I will bless you in new and surprising ways. When you crave a meal, I will bring you a feast. When you pray for me to meet your needs, I will bless you with abundance. My glory will shine so brightly you will no longer need the light from the sun or the moon.

NEXT STEP
Visualize hope and prosperity when you see those who are discouraged or struggling. Silently pray for God’s blessing and kingdom to be revealed to them. Look for an opportunity to show God’s love to them in a practical way.
